I’M A GOLD COAST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER!

Most of my weddings are around Byron Bay, but the truth is that I live on the southern end of the Gold Coast and call Tugun home. I’m within a short drive of some beautiful wedding venues - Summergrove, The Valley Estate, The Bower Estate, to name a few.

Over the years I’ve travelled a lot within Australia and overseas for weddings, but nowadays I’m more and more appreciative of shooting locally, for a whole bunch of reasons. Without the stress of flights and accommodation and all the other things that can distract me on a wedding day, I can pour all my energy into doing my very best for my local clients. And the bonus is that I can be home again by the end of the night.

The Gold Coast is coming ahead. Post-Covid, a lot of fresh young creatives have ventured here from the bigger southern cities, bringing with them new ideas and creative energy. New venues are opening up, giving options to bride who not long ago had to pick between budget golf courses and surf clubs. The city is growing and maturing and has had a healthy injection of culture and class.

Today the Gold Coast is a great option for a destination wedding or for locals looking to get hitched with family and friends. There’s a huge range of vendors and venues, all to suit different styles and budgets.
