Tom & NimHarvest Newrybar wedding, Byron Bay

A ceremony in the Newrybar hall with a beer fairy working the aisle, then a reception up the road at Harvest.

Tom and Nim were married at the Newrybar School of Arts hall, then on to Harvest, ten minutes inland from Byron Bay. The morning started separately — Tom with his groomsmen and a framed painting Nim had wrapped for him, Nim in the window light with her dog underfoot.

What I remember most about the day is how little anyone stood on ceremony. There were tears at the aisle, and a friend in wings handing out beers to the guests before the vows had even started.
